„Stayed overnight on a Friday, and I needed to be at a venue for am, n ot realising that breakfast on a weekend begins at 8am! The staff were great and made me a drink and hot bap to go so I had something inside me. My partner went for the breakfast and absolutely loved it!“

„Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.“

„The staff were very friendly and helpful - absolutely no critique here. However, the hotel was severely understaffed: just one person for the bar, restaurant and check-in – cutting costs, I presume. The food (including breakfast) is below average and of mediocre quality. £16.90 is a ridiculous amount to pay for half-heartedly prepared potatoes with corned beef or a greasy lasagna with far too much cheese. „Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass“

„The personal is incredibly friendly !!❤️“

„I enjoyed my stay! Room was clean, location is good and staff was friendly and professional!“

Checkout time is quite early compared to most hotels. The most disappointing part of the stay was being woken up at 0715hrs by workmen and power tools on the go by 0745hrs general guidelines local council highlight that no noisey building work should be carried out on a Sunday. „A great stay at The George. A warm welcome, great comfy family room and wonderful breakfast.“

„The hotel is beautiful, well equipped, very nice staff. The location is gorgeous with easy access to the centre of Malton. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Only negative was mold in the bathroom, apart from that our stay was perfect!“

„Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, nice food, friendly staff, cool records to play, free sweets n chocolate.. Marvellous!“

„Overall atmosphere was one of the best experienced. A 3 night stop. A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon. Certainly recommend.“
