„Overall a nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the heater worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils and appliances. „The house was clean and the instructions to find it and to get into the house and the check-in check-out process were flawless. „My sister, daughter and I enjoyed being able to stay within the park. The accomodations were exactly as described. Our beds were comfy! One thing a traveler should know about is the occasional power outage. We had one that lasted over 6 hours one afternoon into the evening. If my sister had come that uses a CPAP, this would have been a problem. Something to consider, there is no generator on site. “

„In general, this place is decent. It's located inside the park, about 30 minutes away from the Valley. It is pretty clean and provides most of things needed for a couple of nights. When we needed coffee and more kitchen towel, I texted the staff and she dropped them off quickly. It's a bit pricey but I guess most properties inside the park during the summer over the weekend are probably similar. “

„Got a call approx 2 weeks before visit stating the house we chose needed repairs due to storm damage & offered us a different house upon our approval. I called next day & said the house was acceptable to us. Never heard from them again. When we arrived, our packet had the original house number on it. So we went there & that's where we stayed. No one ever notified us that our original house choice was now available & that's where we were staying. Probably will never use Redwoods in Yosemite ...

" Wir haben uns in dieser (riesigen) Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt!! Unser Zweibettzimmer mit Balkon war sehr sauber und geräumig, das Bad modern und die Dusche ziemlich groß, herrlich! Leider haben wir auch hier (wie so oft in den USA) in der Dusche eine Handbrause vermisst! Auf dem gesamten Gelände wird sehr viel geboten, es gibt einen tollen großen Außen- Pool, einen Whirlpool nebenan, unzählige Spielmöglichkeiten im Freien, wie Boule bzw. Boccia, das Spiel „Vier gewinnt“, verschiedene Rutschen usw. Ein separates Gebäude mit Aufenthaltsraum (mit offenem Kamin) für die Gäste, ein Restaurant, ein großes Spielzimmer (Klettern, Kicker und Shuffleboard spielen möglich). Ganz toll fanden wir auch die „S’mores“ (jeden Abend!) am Lagerfeuer! Die Graham Cracker, Marshmallows und Schokolade, sowie Teleskop-Gabeln zum Aufstecken der Marshmallows, konnte man sich kostenfrei holen. Wir hatten leider nur zwei Übernachtungen, wären gerne viel länger geblieben!! Diese Lodge ist ideal für Familien. Wir werden sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen :)"
