„This was a wonderful cabin in Yosemite! The views around the property were gorgeous! The sauna was so special. Clean. Cozy fire. Nice big dining room table for our family of 7. Just a note that the master bedroom upstairs shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with one other room. Showers were a bit tricky, but there was another shower downstairs. „We absolutely loved this place. Great accommodations, nicely appointed and comfortable a the location was a bit of a drive from Yosemite for my family’s preferences but we were able to also take a great walk on day 1 there and see the location. We booked later and in Winter/ Spring there are limited options and the park was booked up. Not a big deal to me. Mariposa has food offerings and is close by as well. „This place is amazing. The kitchen is beyond well appointed and everything is meticulously thought out to make ones' stay as smooth and fun as possible. The beds are comfortable, the view of the sunset is magnificent and easy access to the valley gets you a jump start on the day. We had a massive anow storm while we were there that left us and our car completely buried. „Had a wonderful time at Granite Tranquility. The rental area is downstairs only, and, as a family of 4 with two pre-teen boys, it was a good size for us. A few maintenance issues popped up, and Vacasa was available and quickly assessed the issues. Property was clean and well-stocked (including a slow cooker! That was huge for us, actually.). „The house was exactly as described. Extremely nice and in a great location. Our only trouble with the rental was check in. The door code was never changed/updated after the previous renters. The code I was given did not work and we were stuck in the rain unable to enter the house. Because of very poor cell reception in Yosemite (as expected) we had trouble being able to contact the manager to figure out how to enter the house. We were given a different code to use after about 30 minutes waiting ...

„We stayed this home for eight nights in November 2023. It has the advantage of being located inside of the parks south entrance gate. It is close to Mariposa Grove and a couple of trails in the Wanona area. There is a small market in the neighborhood which is quite handy. It is approximately 40 minute driving from this house into the Yosemite Valley. The house is large and well-equipped for all indoor activities, including a downstairs game area with bumper pool. „Plenty of room for all guests. Deer at doorsteps. Quiet and peaceful. Ton of badminton and volleyball stuff, which we loved. Books, boardgames, and little hot tub, were all great. Kitchen is absolutely fully stoked, and had good pots and pans. Wifi was ok, no other reception on phone. Beds were comfortable, sofa beds were not so much, but thats nothing new. Little market nearby. Otherwise place needs TLC to get it into this era.“

The location was excellent, with a village store right down the street, some hiking trails close by, and the Giant Sequoia Grove a short drive.
