„The cabin was very clean and well stocked with necessities. We didn't have to purchase anything besides groceries to eat during our week-long stay. The lake was a short walk down the road and hill; we had the section of lake to ourselves during our stay as no one else utilized the area while we were in the lake. My teenager loved having the loft as his own little area and enjoyed climbing the ladder on the wall. The cabin was a short drive from groceries stores, restaurants, the Barren River ...

My husband and I spent three days prior in Tennessee looking for places to relocate. We came to explore the Barron River Lake area for the same reason. This property allowed us to relax at the end of our long days on the road. We cannot say enough about this Woodside Retreat. Look no further, we recommend you stay here. „This is an awesome property to check out. The river is almost like a lake, it's extremely beautiful and secluded. Often times we were the only people in sight, and could see beautiful lake birds like Hurons and Loons. Disclaimer: be comfortable with some muck/mud if you are swimming (or plan for alternative swimming holes)“
