« We love staying at the Garst House whenever we’re in town to visit family. We love the interesting history of the place, and all the old furnishing. Everything is old, and yet, spotlessly clean. It’s like staying at Grandma’s house. »

There is some road traffic but hotel sets far enough off the highway it wasn't a problem for us. Asked for ground floor and it was honored. Breakfast is Continental but adequate for our needs. « When I first saw the hotel I was a little scared of what I saw but decided to check in and give it a chance I'm glad I did. It is a little quirky, the office is only open from 3-10, but the woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, though older. There were some chips in the tub but I didn't find anything wrong with that. My only real challenge was, I had problems adjusti g the air because I couldn't really read the buttons and the bed was high. The bed was very...
