« Awesome secluded place to stay. Very cozy and clean. I am very glad we brought our “camping bin” however that has a lot of supplies, like utensils, paper plates, pan, spatula etc. We cooked all our meals on the grill. The kitchenette is nice but very small. The only sink is in the bathroom. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon (25 min drive) which was the reason for our trip. If you bring a trailer DO NOT try and take it to your cabin. Park outside the gate »

« Had a great weekend at Diamondstone! The cabin is comfortable and cozy. We wanted an alternative to tent camping where we could weather the weekend’s storms - and this was perfect. All the stuff we love about camping but with a sturdy roof and walls when the storms came through. Quiet, secluded and about as remote as a drive-in private cabin rental can get. « While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. « An ideal escape into nature. You’ll be nestled in the woods alongside a neighboring cabin, though you’ll otherwise feel surrounded by nature. The cabin was well furnished with all the essentials that you may need for either a short or long stay. »
