« The staff assigned a room for 2-80+ year old men with arthritis and walking difficulties down at the end of a long hallway on the the second floor when there was plenty of other rooms available within a lot closer walking distance. The ice machine was also 2 floors away--again a long walking distance. »

« This place is amazing, warm, cozy and in a beautiful setting. Mike was a great host and I loved his place. I was there on a hunting trip and 1000's of acres of beautiful Mark Twain National Forest abuts the property. Lots of wildlife and North Fork of the White River is only 3 miles away. It's a true nature lover's perfect place. »

« The cabin was just the right size for a quiet stay in nature. The lake was pristine. Kayaks were available as well as fishing poles and tackle. The dock was in good shape and it was fun to sit on it at different times of the day and evening. A firepit was available with wood. The cabin itself was cozy with everything needed to cook with. « It's an older hotel and at first appearances, you might be tempted to look elsewhere but the room was clean and comfortable and the front desk attendant was very helpful and friendly. It's a good value for the price and we had a restful night's sleep. It had a mini frig and a microwave and wasn't noisy. »
