« Very nice pub attached to the hotel. »

« The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival. The accommodation is in an adjacent building to the bar/pub. The...

« It was a really nice hotel apart from the noise. They have music playing in the bar until gone midnight and it was very loud. Strangely it wasn't too bad in the living area but the bedroom area was awful so we slept really badly. We also had people talking loudly below our window and car horns tooting. Apparently some of the other rooms were ok but they are all doubles and we needed either a king size bed or a twin so the room we were in was our only choice. »

« Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfy bed and room. Spacious double bed room. Bathroom and toilet recent and clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast had ample choice between continental and English. »

« no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes »

« Beautiful location. The views of the countryside were amazing. Food was great. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed dinner there every night. »

« Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. »

« Best bed ever ! »

« Great location, clean rooms. »
