« De passage à Burton pour le Bloodstock Festival nous en avons profité pour rester une semaine autour de la Trent. Cet hotel est le pied à terre idéal, propre, calme, pas cher et bon service. Et le Bloodstock est desservi par un service de limo pour 13 £ le trajet, bonne formule. »

« Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay »

« No air conditioner in room. Just a desk fan, on days where it was in the mid 20s outside. No lift to upper floor, just a spiral staircase! No working extractor fan in bathroom. You are lead to believe it's free parking only to be charged £5 a night as soon as you check in ! The mattress was very firm as well. »

« Room and all areas of hotel were very clean, bed very comfortable and beautiful location by the river in a quiet area. Room had everything you’d need.
The hotel and room in particular does need a little TLC. Furniture old and worn, carpet in room needed replacing and walls could do with a new lick of paint.
Grounds have seen better days but have a lot of potential. »
