„Scheduling my time for a week at this cabin went very smoothly. The host was very responsive to my communications. The location was between Port Leyden and Old Forge so many options for outdoor recreation. We enjoyed the campfire area . The were many locations to purchase firewood. Prices a more expensive in Old Forge. If you are driving in from Port Leyden there is a seller of firewood about 8 miles from the camp who I would recommend. We took our small dog and the cabin worked out well. The ...

„We were very pleased with the house. Easy parking. Instructions helped on place to go and what to do on exiting. We were very comfortable. The living area and kitchen floor were dirty with dirt and pet hair. I wiped the bottom of the chairs. I love pets have one of my own. Have others also. Overall I would come back. My 9 year old grandson played ball in the front yard.“

„We enjoyed our stay and the hostess was very nice and responded quickly to any questions. We did have an issue with the a/c going out and they provided 4 window units within a couple of hours. They definitely believed in taking care of there renters. Nothing fancy was a clean house with all the needs you could ask for. Highly recommend this house...“

„The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. „We had a nice stay and overall enjoyed our time here. The property was clean, had plenty of seating, and the host was very nice, responsive, and helpful. We stayed during the summer and chose the location because we were looking to enjoy some of the outdoor activities in the area. The house is conveniently located right off a main road, which made getting around easy. „Wow a rare find in this cabin and was perfect for all our needs! The ADK decor was lovely on the inside and it had everything we needed in the kitchen! Our beds were super comfy. The hot tub was a plus after spending time at Enchanted Forest (less than 10 mins away).“

„Beautiful location with lake view and access. Cabin is cute with a woodsy yard and Adirondack style furniture. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Close to town. Some work needs to be done on the exterior ( painting and staining). Indoors, property needs cleaning in the closets where we found mouse excrement.“

„Lake was beautiful. Island is small, no place to walk the dog. Docks and other amenities could use Maintenance. The electric boat that was available to get back to the mainland was in disrepair. Had to rely on host. Felt a bit trapped on the island.“
