„Ein super schönes und sehr neues Motel. Endlich mal eins ohne den "alten dicken Teppich Wahnsinn". Zimmer richtig groß für 4 Erwachsene plus Sitzgelegenheit und schöne Küche. in direkter Nachbarschaft findet man einige Fast-Food Schuppen und sonstiges. Also wirklich gute Lage. Wir gingen zum Chipotle nebenan der sehr lecker war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist ein exzellentes Frühstück mit frisch zubereiteten Eier-Speisen aller Art. Das gibt es in dieser Kategorie sehr selten bis gar nicht, TOP.“

„Das Hotel war mittelmässig. Die Zimmer sehr klein. Beim online Einchecken wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches dann doch nicht verfügbar war. Die Frau am Empfang hat uns nicht wirklich begrüsst. Beim Frühstück waren wir alleine. Es war kein grosses Angebot aber ok. “

„A no-frills hotel which is absolutely wonderful. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean which is very important. Upgrades will be done per the front desk. Breakfast is no longer being served but there are plenty of places in neighboring towns for food. There is plenty of parking, vending machines for snacks and amazing sunset views.“

„This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!“

„My two adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful home! Everything was clean, and it was very relaxing staying here. The hosts had great communication, and were very friendly. If you are considering this home, I would recommend it, but be aware that the stairs to the second floor are very steep, the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. But we loved this beautiful, historic home, and would gladly stay here ...
