« House is really cute and inside very interesting and perfectly clean. We had several issues - internet too spotty to use (no work, no TV), no water by dock, neighborhood not great. No matches to light fire-pit and no wood made available. All restaurants and activities closed because considered off season (even hiking). « My 12-year-old son and I loved our stay in the serenity loft. It was the accommodations closest to the bathroom and shower house and very centrally located to all the farm has to offer. « Cabin and property it is on is clean and well maintained. The walking trail is part of a local park so there are occasional walkers passing by on the trail. Overall it’s a good solid place to stay unless you intend to venture out beyond a one-mile radius. The surrounding area is repressed and comes with elevated risk as you pass though it. Crime rate statistics for Henderson are elevated compared to other areas in NC and I wish I would have researched it a bit more before bringing my family...
