« The location was great. Right in downtown Asheville. Free parking was available. Room was clean.but we spent 4 nights in the hotel, there was no cleaning service at all. Nobody cleaned the room, took garbage out, change towels, made our bed. Last night we were awaken at midnight by a very loud noise coming from a drier located around the corner from our room. « This hotel is right in downtown Asheville, near wonderful restaurants & terrific art collections, also the shops on Lexington Avenue. You can walk to everything (but need to drive to Biltmore Estate.) Haywood Park hotel was an historic Bon Marche department store so the rooms are spacious as are the hallways. Extremely helpful staff. Do be aware that if you have a car you will be required to use their Valet Parking which I mistakenly thought was $22 per day but which in fact was $22 every time...

« The property had an electrical issue which caused the elevators to be out & no lighting in the parking area. We weren’t notified in advance of this issue and my elderly father had a hard time getting to his room due to the elevator outage. The beds were very uncomfortable and feels like the springs are popping out. The pillows were old and bunched up. The overnight stay was less than desirable. »
