« The staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpfully already had our room key sorted. The hotel was pleasant and clean though it should be noted that our room was very, very warm. This had been appreciated by the staff in advance by the placement of a fan in the room. We recognised that this could not be helped due to the heatwave and the lack of air con in an old building but we appreciated the effort. »

« Clean. Good temperature. Nice bathroom (Savoy, make sure that you get enough air in so that it stays nice and not get damp). Bedroom clean, beds comfortable (not the highest quality but perfectly serviceable). Carpets are ready for the museum (downstairs) but clean and probably v good quality.... just old fashioned. We had sea-facing rooms and with the window open the motorbikes on the seafront were a bit noisy. Good TV choice. »

« Bien situé (en face de la gare et de l'arrêt de bus pour l'aéroport), chambres confortables. Dans les chambres doubles, le lit d'appoint est un lit pliable qui convient pour un enfant ou ado. »

« Déçus par cet hôtel, les alentours sont en piteux état, voire sales (mauvaises herbes, saletés). Le matelas était très inconfortable (on sentait les ressorts). Il n'y avait pas la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner. »

« La propreté de la chambre laisse a désirer, le matelas de très mauvaise qualité, on sent les ressorts !!!! Personnel pas très aimable, impression de déranger alors qu'on demandai un renseignement. Sinon l'hôtel est a proximité du centre avec un parking ce qui est pratique. »

« We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend! »
