« The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

« I was here for work, so slightly different priorities. But I enjoyed breakfast in my room and the whole order the night before set up, which included the time you wished to eat. Breakfast was good. this also meant the room had a table, which in my situation was very useful.
Tea and coffee etc could be replenished from hall box. Good quality toiletries. Comfortable bed.
Car parking on site, in fact very convenient all round. »

« Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush. »

« Pros - good location. Short walk into town.
Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival.
Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish.
Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space. »

« There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery! »

« Fantastic location but no parking space included was problematic. Car parks fill up quickly.
There was no welcome pack or information about the property.
The property decor was dated and cleaning was not up to standard. For example the dust and dirt behind the beds and tops of plug sockets, splashes of food and drink on the doors and no light bulb in the bedroom. »

« Property had reasonable price. However guest at least expecting property to be clean.
There was too many spider everywhere in the property. Clear haven’t clean it properly
I had to spent an hour to clean which something you do not expect in your holiday.
Location was perfect. Easy parking , Just 7 min drive from Windermere. There is local shop around so easy to get stuff. »
