Food did not live up to the rest of the hotel. Draw back was that you had to pay extra for wifi, extra for parking and extra for the gym and pool. »

« Après 1 journée de marche depuis Matlock (environ 35km), nous avions apprécié notre chambre dans ce b&b. Chambre très confortable, très propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Pas beaucoup de choses à voir dans la ville mais Tideswell est un bon point de départ pour faire beaucoup de randonnées. »

Some really nice touches are the delicious chocolate bars in rooms daily and on the last day a post card appears on your table of one of the excellent pencil drawings by the owner which line the walls of the breakfast room. »

« We stayed for two nights in Fernilee a twin room and although a small room the quality of products linen etc was superb and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was lovely and roomy with the decor complimenting the rest of the house and a great walk in shower. Our welcome and throughout the stay was from Andie and Neil the hosts was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a sit down , cup of tea/coffee and home made ginger cake, home made cake were available every day...
