« What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute! »

« Die kleinen HĂŒtten sind sehr schön ruhig gelegen mit einer Herde Schafe als Nachbarn. Es war alles wie beschrieben. FĂŒr unseren kurzen Aufenthalt zu zweit war alles nötige vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat super funktioniert. »

« This was a last minute booking for us as a wee family treat. The hosts were there on arrival and kindly gave us lots of great tips for exploring the surrounding areas. There is paddleboarding and axe throwing adjacent to the site and Montrose and Brechin are a short drive away. Treat yourself to a lovely riverside woodland walk (blue door walk) in the pretty village of Edzell which is also a short car journey away. The host also advised us to try the Anchor pub in Johnshaven village for food...
