The local pub has recently changed hands and don't currently have a chef, so if you need food, then plan this on the way as there is nothing within walking distance. :-) »

« I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! « I cannot fault this property. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh to a great standard of decoration (much like the rest of the hotel) and the breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely return when we stay in the Lakes next time. »

« Nice comfortable double. The room was a good temperature throughout the stay. If known was going to be placed in a room facing the road would have brought earplugs as I am not used to traffic. Reception was very helpful and quick check in made sure that my car was in sight of the security cameras. Happy to use this hotel again. »
