« Amazing place »

« Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...

« This place was wonderful! It was better than advertised. The room had everything you need for your stay, Sherry the host obviously put a lot of thought into it. Sherry was great to work with and the Horseshoe bar and grill had excellent pizza. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially when the sun comes up. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will hopefully stay there again. »

« Property was great!! My wife and I visited the area to check out Shawnee Forest and other surrounding areas. This cabin was very well located for us. The interior was fantastic. Anything you may have wanted was there. The bed was super comfy and clean. The bathroom was very well stocked and very clean as well. We would 100% stay here again if we come back through the area. Thanks for a great stay!! »

« I was in the area for a seminar and to do some hiking. The location was perfect. The cabin could not have been better and was just right size for one person - not too big, not too small. Very clean, had everything you would need, and I really liked the kitchen area. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area and would strongly recommend it. »

« Actually, it was a nice small room for two people. It was clean. Our problem was the weather. It rained so hard and there was a lot of wind. The electricity went out so we had to leave and go to another establishment. But then the right conditions I think it would be a nice place for a couple or one person just to get away into nature. It was very easy to get my refund due to the weather. The contact person was very efficient and removedall of our concerns. »

« The property was perfect for our spring break trip. Super clean, very well furnished, perfect location, and we had the best time. My son loved being able to hang out at the pond and fish - and especially loved swimming with the owners dog, Kevin! Highly recommended this little gem. »

« this was our 4th stay in these cabins but the first time in cabin 6. The cabin was clean well stocked( kitchen, bath, and deck). They provided a basket of welcome snacks also. we had one time in our 4 day stay that they needed to work on a screen the manager texted us to inform us ahead of time and to make sure it was ok with us »
