Outdated key pad

It was a nice quite get away, but no staff on premises, due to the holiday. We took a short walk just before lunch, came back to our room and the key pad to our room would not work. No one answered the security number, got in touch with Josh, said he was property manager/owner?,don’t know which. He stated he would just put us in another room, no problem…well, everything we had was in our room that the door wouldn’t open to. After about an hour had passed…We had to use the restroom, and had to search the premise's to find an open restroom to use. He later called and said he could not find anyone to open the room, due to it being Christmas Day, but will try to locate a locksmith to come open it. He called again and said that someone is in route to open the door, and will be there in about 15 minutes. Two Hispanic females arrived, did not attempt to speak or make contact with us, opened the outdated key pad, put in a new battery, and it worked. They already knew the code, and were obviously housekeeping, etc. I asked where they worked, one said Mexico, the other said iTrip Austin!It was nearly two hours, when we got back into our room, besides this problem, everything went well. Never have received a return call from their security, after leaving two messages.

General maintenance

Just a friendly heads up, someone need to make their way through the unit and tighten up a bunch of screws, adjust the shower doors and doo a deep corner to corner cleaning. And it should be on record from Saturday night, that the washing mashing isn’t going into it’s spin cycle, This was not at all convenient for me, and I had to drive 38 minutes one way to do my wash at a laundromat. I feel as tho a reimbursement of 50 dollars is a fare request, due to the time and cost in gas and laundromat fees would be adequate. Thank you Dean Moseng

Very disappointed

The property itself is very run-down; the outside is in serious need of cleaning, painting, repair and upgrade. The interior of the condo was not clean - after we cleaned up what appeared to be a spill from the previous renters, picked up several dead insects, swept the patio and cleaned a lot of spider webs and much dirt off the chairs on the patio, we felt we could settle in. The pools were both dirty and quite cloudy. The Phase 1 pool outside our room had bugs, dirt, leaves and wads of hair floating in it. Phase 2 pool was better, however we learned that another renter spent quite some time earlier in the day with the skimmer cleaning it out. We decided to leave a day early because we kept coming across issues - bathroom was not clean - we were allotted one towel each for a 4 day stay - dryer did not work - ice maker generated clumps, not ice cubes - pools never got much better. Overall we feel cheated. The culmination is when my girlfriend said "worst vacation ever."

Cute condo very dated property remote area

The unit is located in a very dated property that definitely needed upkeep in a residential area that was also quite dated and in an area of the lake with basically nothing to do and 45 minutes to an hour drive to anything would definitely not stay in this area again. The condo was decorated cute; however, the shower doors didn’t close properly bathroom towels were very worn and almost thread bare, and the soap in the bathroom was a combination of different types to conserve $$ I can only guess. All items for the property management not owner.

31st birthday getaway

We came down from Fort Worth for a stay on lake Travis. This condo exceeded all of our expectations. It’s a very beautiful location. The hot tub wasn’t working but besides that everything was great.

The place was in a great location. Had some inconveniences (dead bugs, non-working elevator, etc.), but still nice place. The balcony is great, but desperately needs ceiling fans (not a want, it’s a need) to even enjoy properly. Overall the property is nice and will be even better if lake levels are ever back to normal. Definitely good for a short stay. Thanks!

Great place for sure!!

Nice condo with everything you need. Right off the pool and close to elevator for ease of parking lot. Nice amenities. The only downside is it’s a little far from activities (40 minutes) in Cedar Park or Austin, but if you’re just wanting a relaxing stay and play this is a perfect spot.

43rd ANNIVERSARY

We loved the condo we rented on The Island on Lake Travis which is located in Lago Vista. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The condo was very clean. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, it was by far some of the best sleep the wife and I had. Also, master bedroom lets you enjoy a gorgeous view from your bed or easy access to a balcony that overlooks the pool and incredible view of the lake. The smart TV lets you enjoy some lazy nights in the bedroom. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, single vanity sink. The open floorplan provides an intimate atmosphere. The living area is comfortably furnished with a couch and chair that face the TV for entertainment, as well as door leading out to the balcony a stunning view and comfortable furnishings, with sofa, and comfortable seating waiting for you outside. You are guaranteed to find yourself sipping a tropical drink while enjoying the beautiful view and cool breeze. The dining area table offers seating for four and is the perfect spot for a fancy or casual meal. It connects to the open kitchen, which boasts a large countertop that is a great place to set out drinks or try a buffet-styled dinner. The granite countertops make the well-equipped kitchen a fun place for cooking! You have plenty of options for taking in your meal with the people you love, from the dining area, breakfast bar seating, or dining on the balcony Also, condo has a washer/dryer will keep you feeling refreshed! A plus is the condo is on the 1st floor and less then 20ft from the elevator which lead to the underground parking. Whether you're a couple looking for quiet place or searching for a fun-filled getaway, there's no better place than the stunning beauty of The Island on Lake Travis. Their lovely views, a wide variety of activities, and amenities make this condo perfect for your next escape. I would highly recommend The Island on Lake Travis. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed, and you'll never forget you're stay in this lovely Texas condo.

Lovely condo with amazing view!

Hubby and I visited in July 2022 for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! communication with the property manager was quick and easy. They were very responsive and instructions were very thorough! The property was exactly as listed and the location was perfect (away from hustle & bustle). We loved being so close to the pool and the balcony looking out onto the pool/lake was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The condo grounds were so lovely and well maintained. The lake is VERY low, but the area is in a big drought. The pool was clean and water was warm. Lots of families and kids playing. Loved the fountain flowing in to the pool. It was about a 10-15 min drive to the nearest grocery store/drug store and 20-25 min to Cedar park. We got groceries and had no issues driving in for dinner at night. We would love to come back and bring our kids.

Great View & Great Place!

Overall the view and the pool were our favorite there were a few things we were not happy about the sheets on the bed were dirty both on sofa bed and master room bed, found dead cockroaches by the bed, door in the shower didn’t work properly it was hard to open and close. If your wanting to find places to eat everything is an hour away from the lake.

Great Location

We’ve stayed in several different condos on the island and this was are least favorite. It has a great location just steps from the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with any appliance you would need. The downside was that the condo was not clean. We couldn’t get the channels working on the TV in family room but was able to watch different channels on TV in bedroom. They had obviously had problems with this before in texts with manager. We also got locked out of the condo because the batteries in the door lock died. How hard is it to regularly change batteries? Not my favorite place
