„Our deluxe room was OK, clean and bright although some black spots on the walls could be seen. Also horrible noise that disturbed us was loud music from the bar of the Novotel Hotel which started from 10.00 pm to 2 am every night. We informed the Ibis staffs about the noise, but no changes.“

Das ganze ist aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Teich im Innenhof verströmt einen leicht modrigen Geruch und in unserem Zimmer wurde die Nachtruhe durch den die ganze Nacht laufenden antiken Nadeldrucker im Büro darunter erheblich gestört. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber aber klein, aber die offenen, nicht verdeckbaren Fenster könnten stören und die laut quietschende Tür im Bad war ...

„The good: Lovely staff who are always willing to assist. The friendly greetings each time we walked past the reception desk made us smile. Comfortable room. The bad: Food at the restaurant not great for the price. The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights.“

„Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl. Es ist aber ein Fünf-Stern-Hotel, das überwiegend von asiatischen Touristen & Gästen gebucht wird. Das merkte man am Frühstücksbuffet. Das Interieur erinnert immer noch stark an die 70er Jahre.“

„Liked: Friendly staff. Early check-in. Good location (local bus direct to centre and to Balapan station). English-language channels on the TV. Breakfast included (although mostly Indonesian food). Disliked: The standard room was quite small and had no kettle or fridge. There was also no "no smoking" option with the standard room.“
