« Room was very clean, Staff was great. My kids had the breakfast and said it was good. Pool/Hot Tub were down due to maintenance. No biggie to us we were not planning on using. Only downside was they appeared to have a lot of leaks from the rain or something. They had a bunch of trash cans set up to catch water. Kinda out of their control. But hotel did have a smell and no way to keep floors clean the entire day due to people tracking dirt through the water. But they did try their best. Def would...

« My wife has been coming to Oglebay for the majority of her life and for her it’s become a tradition to visit. I have only been to the property twice and although I think it is very nice, improvements need to be made:
1. Both the indoor and outdoor pools need to be refurbished IMMEDIATELY! Both are gross! At a bare minimum, a fresh coat of paint would be helpful.
2. Carpeting throughout the entire resort needs replacing.

« I will not stay here again. the room smelled musty when entering. the bed was a mattress on a metal frame so it sank where people have been on it the most. the air conditioner was so loud. no hair dryer. no tissues. I suppose since it’s geared towards extended stays, you are supposed to buy all those things yourself. »
