"Ein wunderbares Hotel, das wir sehr genossen haben. Der Pool mit Blick auf den Douro war ein Genuss, das Zimmer groß mit Terrasse, allerdings nicht mit Blick zum Tal. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend: Es gab u.a. Pasteis de Nata und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zum Hotel ist mit Koffern eine gewisse Herausforderung. Wir empfehlen, statt des kurzen Weges über Treppen und steile Wegstücke mit Kopfsteinpflaster den etwas weiteren Weg über die geteerte Straße zu nehmen, oder ggf. ein Taxi zu wählen. "
