„This VRBO is a mixture of good and bad. The unit itself was very clean; parts of it were new/well kept, others were pretty bad & worn out. The location & the price was reasonable for a bay area visit. When I made the reservation, I sent a message to the host about us & why we were visiting, they made no response.Entrance is difficult to find, located on winding roads & small or unmarked driveways. „Great location, and the reserved street parking spot was really key. Good communication, and easy entry/exit using the keypads. Some areas for improvement: There's some noise leakage from upstairs in the mornings (news radio? loud TV?); the water in the shower never gets very hot; and the touchscreen thermostat only lists "upstairs" as an option, which made us wonder how we could adjust the temp downstairs (where the apartment is). But overall, it's a good 1BR apt in a very convenient and fun ...

„This is a tough one to review, honestly. We didn't end up staying. The location was great, the tree house vibe was awesome, my kid loved the porch swing, and it appeared clean/neat inside. But it smelled very musky! We debated about what to do and ended up deciding not to stay. „If you have trouble with stairs don't stay here. Lovely place but the drive to the house is difficult. And then the stairs up to your room, oh my. I had to leave after one night as I just couldn't face them daily. And having to drive the narrow, twisting road at dusk was frightening. It was a great room and the quiet was outstanding. Host was a lovely lady. Just I'm too old for all the climbing.“
