We had a pleasant stay at the Silver Beach Hotel. We understood going in that the hotel has experienced some damage in the past and is in the process of being restored to higher standards, and our expectations were set accordingly.
The location is excellent and truly one of the highlights. Our room was simple but clean, which we appreciated. We especially loved that there was no carpet in the room — a big plus. The beds were neat, clean, and comfortable, making for a good night’s rest.
The staff was kind, respectful, and welcoming throughout our stay. One area for improvement would be being a bit more informed about local events and what’s happening around town, which would be helpful for guests.
We did experience some issues with the TV and internet, but overall it did not take away from our experience. With continued updates and improvements, this hotel has great potential, and we would consider staying again.
