Great stay!

Stayed here with my family and friend to celebrate my 25th birthday. The house is very big and has a lot of amenities including fire pit, bikes, kayaks/canoes, ping pong table, grill and close to the beach. We all enjoyed hanging out in the family room on the comfy furniture and deck overlooking the water. Would definitely stay again!

Great place with everything you need

We loved staying here. The house was clean, stocked with all kinds of stuff, great neighborhood, and just as the listing described. We were in town for a baseball tournament so my son loved coming back and soaking in the jetted tub. I really enjoyed sitting on the back and front porch feeling the breeze and listening to the ocean. I also enjoyed that the house was really close to places to eat and grocery store. We would definitely book again.

October Beach Trip 2022

Had a great time! We love staying at this property, it's the perfect layout for our group of 10. Spacious common areas, and plenty of isolated quiet areas as well. Short walk to the beach makes for a perfect location!

Super clean, comfortable, welcoming in a wonderful location.

Shelly is a wonderful host, providing comfortable beds, a pantry stocked with more spices than I have in my own kitchen, a garage filled with bikes and beach equipment, supplies for laundry, and immediate responses to all questions. No locked "owner's closets " she shares her home with her guests. The inverted floor plan, with kitchen, dining, and living room on the top level and both a covered and open porch offered beautiful views of the canals. Getting groceries and suitcases up to the second and third levels was easy, even for our group of seniors because of the elevator! The location was perfect. We put our kayaks in the canal from the back yard and paddled out to the peaceful Assawoman Bay. We walked 2 blocks to the beach, pulling a wagon we took along, filled with chairs and umbrellas kept in the garage for guests. Off season the beach was peaceful. Beautiful. But we were a bike ride away from restaurants and shops in Bethany and Fenwick. We're planning a second visit next year.

It's a great place for family and friends gathering. It's very quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed crabing, canoeing, and the sunset/sunrise at the beach -only 5 mins walk!

Couldn’t Ask For a Better Stay

The title says it all. The property, communication, location, and everything in between was impeccable. 3rd floor balcony overlooking the canals was really cool. Very spacious and comfortably fit 10 adults. Full size pantry with everything imaginable, kitchen-wise, was also a very nice touch.

Wonderful stay!

My family of five had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The house is well maintained and comfortable. I use VRBO for the majority of my travel and rely on the reviews. Everything I read prior to booking was 100% accurate. The house is perfectly located in South Bethany and a block from the beach. The neighborhood is very peaceful and our last morning just before we left at 6:00 a.m., I stood on the upper floor balcony and could hear the ocean. My entire family loved the location and look forward booking this location again.

Best Fall Girls Trip

First, the host is so very sweet and accommodating the location is perfect with about a 3 minute walk to the beach and the home is stocked with pretty much any essentials you’ll need for a weekend stay. This home was especially amazing for our group as my best friend is disabled. The elevator, access to the bathroom, and pretty much every area of the home was accessible to her. Even the beach was accessible with an extensive ramp. We could not have asked for a better retreat and will be staying again in the near future. Do yourself a favor and stop thinking about it and book yourself a well deserved getaway!

We loved everything about the house and the location. It was great for our group of 10, as there was plenty of space for group gatherings and also lots of space to retreat to for privacy as well. Perfect house for a weekend at the beach with friends!

I really can't stay enough great things about our time at this house! Everything was so smooth and easy... from communication with the owner before the trip, to the check in and check out process. The house is in a great location in South Bethany. You have beautiful canal views off the back of the property and are literally a 3 minute walk from the beach. The owners have plenty of beach gear that they offer for use. We even toured around the canal in their canoe. There is also a great fire pit out back. The house was very well stocked and had anything we could have needed for food prep. The beds were so comfortable and everything was clean and updated. It truly was a great weekend stay and we will definitely hope to stay here again soon!

This was our second time renting this property. We elected to return after a wonderful 1st trip. The second was just as great. No complaints again. 1 small issue with a fan breaking was remedied by other freestanding fans available on the property. Long weekend at the beach

This was our first time ever vacationing in Delaware after dropping off a child at college. This house was everything we could’ve wanted. Check in was easy. Everything was well stocked including all the beach gear and fun sporting equipment! The location to the beach was perfect and the outside porch on the canal was perfect for morning coffee or a relaxing evening. I would highly recommend this property and wish we could’ve spent a full week there. The outdoor shower was my favorite part!
