The golf courses, grounds, fitness facilities and club facilities were all excellent. The island is beautiful and we found the staff to be very welcoming. The house, however, was not as expected for a private, country club neighborhood. We contacted the hosts 24 hours in to our stay with concerns, including numerous stained carpets and furniture, missing outlet covers, inoperable water and ice in the refrigerator, broken dishwasher rack and door, inoperable windows throughout the unit (host indicated upon check-in that none could be opened) and offtrack and inoperable doors in the laundry area. Several days passed before the hosts responded, and no resolution occurred to any of these issues (despite multiple messages). We would love to spend more time on this island, but would not return to this house in its current condition.
