« We arrived after a long drive and were immediately met by two impressive figures... the view of the Dolomites and Alex the owner. The view of the Dolomite is intimidating and awe inspiring. Alex is warm and generous.. the perfect host. The juxtaposition of the two figures was the backdrop of our entire stay. The warmth and cozyness of the chalet is a direct reflection of the proprietor and his family. Every detail is to perfection like German timepiece, yet inviting. So much so, my daughter...

Though you cannot have a speed drive on these mountain roads, the house is well located for an easy access to many wonderful sites. »

« Beautifully built and maintained modern home. Lots of windows and two balconies looking at alpine meadow. There are stairs between the 4 floors, so not a great place for toddlers! but good for sound isolation between bedrooms, living area, etc. Wonderfully fully appointed kitchen where we enjoyed cooking and eating together at the adjacent dining room table most nights. Location, about 10 min walk into town and trams is perfect. »

« A perfect property in Ortisei. The 5 bedroom chalet was comfortable for everyone to have their "own space" with a nice common area to eat and gather. We enjoyed the outdoor table as well. Laundry room just down stairs was a great plus. We also enjoyed walking to and using the included spa/sauna/pool facility. So convenient to restaurants, grocery, gondolas and pedestrian zone, with easy parking...Would certainly stay again if in the area. »

« The setting is beautiful. There are some great strenuous walks available from the chalet without getting in the car. Mountain bikers would love it. Jimmy is very friendly and helpful. A welcome pack of accurate local information would have been an asset. There were two days when we did not have internet as the host had forgotten the password. This made communication with our son who was arriving separately very difficult.There were various maps etc but info such as days when the supermarket...

« Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche mit unseren beiden Teenagern und unserem Hund. Die Unterkunft liegt absolut ruhig mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge und das kleine Örtchen. Es gibt zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten, unter anderem direkt vor der Haustür. Darüber hinaus sind Meran und Bozen mit dem Auto ebenfalls gut zu erreichen. Für uns war es perfekt: Viel Auslauf für den Hund, wir haben eine Menge gesehen und konnten gleichzeitig mal wieder richtig herunterfahren. Obwohl die Vermieter selbst...
