« I have been traveling for work for years and out of all my stay, this was my favorite. Traveling often just doesn't feel like home. But, this was better than just being home. Waking up to views off the porch was a great way to start the morning. And just relaxing in the evening on the same porch was just as relaxing. Home was very clean and the host's were very detailed in every part of the cabin. I honestly didn't want to leave. I hope to come back again. »

« This was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway for my husband and me. The location was great for what we had planned—hiking in Ohiopyle and checking out Fort Necessity and Fallingwater. We have driven past this area numerous times while taking our daughter to college, but we had never taken the time to do any exploring until now! The hot tub was amazing, especially after hiking on Saturday. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We would absolutely consider staying here again! »

« Kathleen had everything we needed from seasoning, bug spray, smores/ fire pit supplies, soap, toothpaste brushes, even games and movies. Everything was clean and private, we had a great time relaxing by the fire and in the hammock. Great for anyone by themselves or families. 15 mins from Morgantown and lots of trails around. The road gets a little rough at one point so smaller/lower cars go slow and be careful but it didn’t dampen our stay at all. Kathleen was an amazing host, we appreciate her...

« Four women on year 40 of getting together each summer. We stayed at Alpine lake 10 years ago, but in a different property not by the lake. This old log house is perfect in terms of location. Our absolute favorite is the porch and experiencing the lake in the early morning sun, afternoon and evening!What a delight. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot. The kitchen has a nice selection of stainless steel pots and kitchen gadgets. The stairs to the upstairs do not have a banister, so...
