The villa itself was beautiful, and the location truly excellent.
The support we received from the Sardinia Unlimited team, especially from Eva and Nicoletta, was absolutely fantastic, and we are very grateful for their dedication. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, we cannot give more than 2/5 stars due to our unbearable experience at Villa Sayuri.
From the moment we arrived, we noticed cameras around the property, which immediately made us feel uncomfortable and deprived of the privacy and freedom we were expecting for our first holiday in Sardinia.
We later discovered that the neighbors were indeed observing us from sunrise, which made the situation even more intrusive and unsettling. On top of that, the Wi-Fi did not function properly, forcing us to rely on costly roaming charges throughout our stay.
Halfway through our holiday, the agency on behalf of the villa owner asked us to either restrict our activities or leave the property. This request was completely unacceptable and further undermined our sense of privacy and freedom during what should have been a relaxing vacation.
Thankfully, the Sardinia Unlimited team did everything possible to support us, offering alternative solutions and working hard to salvage the remainder of our trip. Their professionalism and kindness were the only positive aspect of an otherwise disappointing experience.
