House on a Hill: 3Bdrm with Private Playground & New Appliances
Situated in the peaceful Calgary NW community of Nolan Hill. This home has 1900+ sq ft. of living space.
3 Bedrooms on the upper floor, a bonus/Rec room and a large upstairs laundry room. The Master Bedroom has a large en-suite with his & her sinks. It also has a large walk-in closet.
Please review our house rules. NO SMOKING, NO PARTIES, NO PETS.
Lovely pot lights installed on the main floor, in the master bedroom. Programmable thermostat. Hardwood flooring on the main floor. Carpet on the top floor.
This is a beautiful home. The back of the house is west facing so you can see the sunset from the Master bedroom, kitchen, dinning or preferably from the deck on a nice summer day.

Thank you for choosing to stay at House On A Hill while you’re in Calgary. We want your stay to be both pleasant and memorable.
We like being able to have a quiet and peaceful evening after a full day at work. We hope that is your experience here.

Checking In
Access: The code to the door will be sent to you a few days prior to your arrival.
TO UNLOCK: From the outside, simply enter your code. To unlock from the inside, turn the thumb-turn.

Internet: Our WIFI Guest network is Iroko, the password is 4039735474. If the Internet stops working Unplug the WiFi router located at the edge of the peninsula to the left of the fridge. Plug it back in and wait 1 minute for it to get back online. If the issue persists, please call Tee (403)973-5474 so we can contact our service providers.
Weather: The weather in Calgary is unpredictable. It has been known to rain, shine and snow all on the same day. Check the weather forecast, pack appropriately and dress in layers.
Parking: There is parking space on the drive way and ample street parking.
Temperature Control: The thermostat is located in the walk way upstairs just before the bonus room. To change the temperature, pull the circle up on the thermostat to increase, or the down arrow to decrease the temperature.
Watching TV There are wall-mounted smart TVs on each floor. In the living room on the main floor the remote is on the coffee table. In the bonus room upstairs, the remote is on the shelf below the TV.
You require a Roku account to log into the TV. You can set this up for free at www.roku.com. Once you have that, your experience is the same when ever you log into a Roku device.
Once you've set up a Roku account, log into the TV. You can then use your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus etc accounts. Please remember to log off upon check out.
If you want to go the extra mile, you can download the Roku app onto your smart phone or tablet from the apple store or google play. The app enables you to control the TVs from your phone.
We decided on this approach cause guests have different preferences. We don't want to risk having one guest offended by the content choices of another guest.
If the TV stops working Turn the TV off and unplug it. Wait 60 secs. Plug it back in and turn it on. If the issue persists, please call Tee (403)973-5474 so we can contact our service provider.
Charging Your Electronics There are USB outlets provided beside the desk in the living room and on the left of the bed in the master bedroom. If you forget your charging cable(s) don’t worry, we have provided 2 cables in the living room desk drawer. If you forget your USB charging head, each room has a USB powered lamp. Feel free to repurpose the USB adapter. All we ask is that you kindly return the items to their original location.
Supplies: We have stocked the kitchen with the basic essentials, tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc. The bathrooms and laundry room are also stocked with basic supplies. Please help yourselves to any supplies you need. Please let us know if you use the last of any items so we can replenish it for our next guests.
Linen: Each room has a spare set of sheets in the closet. Master: Queen set of sheets, 4 bath towels, 3 small hand towels, 3 medium hand towels Bedroom 2: Full set of sheets, 3 bath towels, 3 small hand towels, 3 medium hand towels Bedroom 3: Full set of sheets, 3 bath towels, 3 small hand towels, 3 medium hand towels
Laundry The Laundry room is upstairs. There is a washer, a dryer, iron and an ironing board.
Garbage: There is a pull-out drawer to the bottom right of the kitchen sink. The garbage bin is the first of 2 bins. There are waste baskets in every room and bathroom. When these are full, please take the bags to the front of the house and place in the black bin.
Recycling: There is a pull-out drawer to the bottom right of the kitchen sink. The recycle bin is the second of 2 bins. When this is full, please take to front of the house and place in the blue bin.
Compost It is located under the kitchen sink. When this is full, please take to front of the house and place in the green bin.
Fire Extinguisher The fire extinguisher is in the closet close to the garage door. The closet has a sticker on it.
Shopping: 5 - 7 Minutes from the Beacon Hill shopping complex. 15 Minutes from Market Mall. 5 - 10 minutes from 2 different COOP Stores. 5 minutes from the Sage Hill Walmart. 5 minutes from City Market 15 Minutes 2 different Super stores. 20 minutes from T&T. 5 - 7 minutes from Costco. For quick items, there are also a couple of convenience stores at the gas stations close by.
Attractions There are a multitude of things to keep you happy and engaged in the city. Please visit tourism Calgary (https://www.visitcalgary.com/) for up-to-date happenings within the city.
Checking Out When it’s time to say goodbye;
Time: Check-out is 11:00 am, please let us know if you require additional time and we will be happy to accommodate you if we are able.
Dishes: Kindly put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it. We are happy to put them away when we come through to clean the unit.
Laundry: Please strip all beds and place sheets and pillowcases (but not comforters) and used towels in a pile in front of the laundry room door.
Windows: Please ensure that all the windows are shut.
Kindly leave the unit in a tidy condition and if you have moved any furniture, please be sure to return them to their original positions.

Excellent stay in Calgary
Our family loved this property for our short stay in Calgary. The house accomodated our group size perfectly and the kids loved the backyard and upstairs area with the fooseball table and lego. The kitchen was well stocked which was greatly appreciated when we cooked pur own meals.

Perfect place to stay in Antibes! Quiet location even though it’s on a busy street. Hosts (Hanna) was super responsive. Check in was seamless. Notebook has suggestions on things to do and places to visit if you have limited time. Perfect for a family. We were two people only but enjoyed the space!

A great property with all the needed amenities. Tee was super responsive and very accommodating. The area is lovely and has some nice local services within walking distance. Would definitely be on our list for a return trip to Calgary!

Great stay in Calgary
The home was very clean and the kitchen, the appliances and the furniture were great. The outside playground in the back yard was fantastic if you have kids. Our grandchildren had a lot of fun out there playing.

Marvellous stay
Really nice house and good location with easy access to busses to central Calgary. Very responsive host.
The house was marvellous and the children enjoyed both the play equipment and watching the wildlife beyond the back garden.
We would definitely stay here again. The property has set very high expectations fir the rest of our roadtrip.

Great family home.
I stayed here with my wife, 2 kids, and their grandparents, and this house was very accommodating for all of us. There was plenty of space for us all to unwind and enough to keep the kids entertain such as the backyard playground and the foosball table. There is nothing negative I could say about my stay here. Thank you guys.

Amazing Stay in Family Friendly Home!
Terrific property for a family visit! Huge, well equipped kitchen opens into a dining room with a large table (perfect for game nights!) and a comfortable living room with large tv and gas fireplace (perfect for morning coffee!). My husband and I enjoyed the clean and quiet surroundings during the week of our stay and our son, his wife and daughter joined us for the weekend. Lots of room for everyone, exceptionally quiet and easy access to shopping and activities. Tee (the host) was wonderful, helpful and readily available. Highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!

As beautiful as pictured!
This home is perfect for families. It was clean and well kept just as pictured. Tee does an excellent job of answering any questions prior to and during the stay. This home is located in a beautiful neighborhood only 20 minutes from the airport. There are numerous shops and restaurants easily accessible within 2 minutes drive. Our children loved the playground and toys available. The home is well appointed with everything you need to keep you entertained and comfortable. This was our first visit to Calgary and I look forward to returning to Tee's home! Tee was an excellent host and exceeded our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at House on a Hill. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host, Tee, was very responsive to messages and went above and beyond. Bedrooms were lovely, the tub in the ensuite was glorious! The neighbourhood is also wonderful, the view from the back of the house is beautiful. The basement of the house is occupied, but they were quiet and we had zero problems or concerns. Highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!
