„Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there ...

„We stayed at this property with our adult children during a family vacation. It was clean and comfortable, and it was great to be able to stay inside the park. A couple of things we weren’t aware of (these did not impact my rating, just FYI for others). The property is around 2000 ft higher than Yosemite Valley, which means more snow in winter/spring. We were unable to get one of our cars up the driveway during a late winter storm. It is steep and has a hole at the bottom, which made traction ...

With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome.
