This cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway or a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is truly a hidden gem. The setting is serene, surrounded by Mother Nature but also within minutes of Cape girardeau/ Jackson, Trail of Tears State Park , the famous Pilot House, the St. Louis Mountain Railway and local wineries.
This cabin historically was once part of the “Girls Scout Camp.” The cabin was originally the dining hall and it was later renovated to an open concept studio cabin. As you walk into the cabin you will feel a cozy, rustic charm. The main focal point is the beautiful stone fireplace in the center of the cabin. There is a desk for writing, dining room area and a queen size bed and a daybed that can sleep an additional 2. There’s a bathroom/shower and dressing area with a full length mirror. A full kitchen is located right off of the living room. At the end of the day you can relax and listen to the crackles of the fire in the fireplace or sit outside and watch the deer pass by. There is also a pavilion that can be used for additional charge. Please inquire owner. When you do book our wonderful cabin you will have 2 options for a damage deposit, a refundable deposit and a non refundable deposit to choose from.
