YOUR OWN APARTMENT AT BLUE WATER VISTA
Your group gets your own upstairs apartment at Blue Water Vista, made for family getaways, reunions, wedding weekends, trips with friends and, yes, the pups too.

Enjoy your own entrance, private elevator, indoor living spaces, balconies and both rooftop decks. The apartment does not connect inside to the first-floor apartment. The pool, partially fenced yard, outdoor shower, exterior seating, charcoal grill and other ground-level outdoor amenities are shared with Apartment A guests (first floor).

• Third-floor stop opens directly into Bedroom 8
• Both rooftop decks are reached by stairs only; the elevator does not reach them
• Peekaboo ocean-view deck: stairs from Bedroom 8, for your whole group
• Canal-view deck: spiral staircase from Bedroom 7`s balcony

POOL & BACKYARD
• Shared saltwater pool: 11,800 gallons, 3.3–6.6 ft deep

• Backyard is partially fenced; please keep pups leashed outdoors
• The beach and the canal are a short walk away

LOCAL DOG RULES
• Town beach: leashed dogs anytime Oct–Mar; Apr–Sep, leashed dogs before 9 AM or after 5 PM
• Freeman Park: off-leash under voice control Oct–Mar; leashed Apr–Sep
• Dogs aren`t allowed in the Boardwalk district

• Sandpiper Lane Public Dinghy Dock: 0.3 miles; kayak & paddleboard launch. The dock across the street is private and belongs to our neighbors

Explore Carolina Beach Marina, Lake and State Park, or take a trip to Kure Beach and Fort Fisher. Please note: the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher is currently closed for renovation and expansion.

Expect more activity during summer and holiday weekends, with a quieter pace in fall. Canal Drive can occasionally experience street flooding during heavy rain or unusually high tides. Access may be temporarily affected while the water recedes.

PARKING & GETTING AROUND
• Park in Lane B only
• Space for 3 cars + 1 rental golf cart (in the middle of carport lanes)
• Tandem parking: cars park one behind another
• We`re roughly 1 mile north of the center of town. After crossing Snow`s Cut Bridge, continue to Carl Winner Drive, turn left, then turn left onto Canal Drive
• The beach is easy to reach on foot; a car or rental golf cart is convenient for groceries and exploring
• Uber and Lyft are options; availability varies
• The NC Transporter and Carolina Limo advertise private airport transfers serving Carolina Beach vacation rentals. Reserve ahead and confirm pickup at 1206 Canal Drive directly with the provider

I`m available 8 AM–10 PM Eastern and usually reply within an hour; messages after 10 PM are answered the next morning. For urgent property issues, message me, then call the host number in the app or on the fridge welcome sign. Please call three times in a row if you can`t reach me. If I miss your calls, leave a voicemail saying you`re a current guest with an urgent issue, with your name, callback number, property address and a brief description of the issue.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for peak summer months and holidays, when our Firm cancellation policy applies. Please review the cancellation terms for your dates before booking.

HOUSE RULES
• Booking guest must be 25+ and stay on-site the entire trip
• No third-party bookings for someone else
• Maximum 13 overnight guests
• All guests and pets must be listed on the reservation
• Up to 2 dogs under 55 lbs each; pet fees apply
• The pool area is a people-only zone
• Please keep an eye on little ones around the pool
• Swim with a buddy present—no solo swimming
• Smoke-free and vape-free home
• Grilling happens at the ground-level grill, not on decks or balconies
• Quiet hours: 9 PM–7 AM, per Carolina Beach town rules (blame the town, not us)
• Please be considerate of guests sharing the outdoor spaces
• For safety, there are three exterior security cameras: one on the roof facing the pool, one above garage door A and one above garage door B overlooking the carport area. Cameras are on during stays

SAFETY & PROPERTY DISCLOSURES
• Must climb stairs: You must climb a spiral staircase to reach the rooftop canal facing balcony off of bedroom 7.
• Pool and nearby water: There is a pool in the backyard and it is a short walk to the beach or the canal.
• Security cameras: For safety, there are three exterior security cameras: one on the roof facing the pool, one above garage door A and one above garage door B overlooking the carport area.
• Shared spaces: Pool, partially fenced yard, outdoor shower, exterior seating, and charcoal grill areas are shared with guests renting the first-floor unit (A).

EASY CHECKOUT
Start the dishwasher, take out the trash (overflow goes in the cans in your parking Lane B in the carport area), turn things off, lock all doors and windows, and we`ll do the rest—no stripping beds. Please double-check for small items like keys, jewelry and chargers. If you think of it, set the thermostats to 74°F in summer or 68°F in winter.

Heated pool first or sunset swing first? Excellent problem to have.
