Great location and place!

We stayed for 39 days and enjoy the place and location. Great for walking to restaurant, grocery stores and parks. The picture are accurate. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered screen porch throughout the day. We will definatley be back!!

Older multi dwelling building. Inexpensive for the week. Close to grocery, restaurants, bars, and easy to get around. Dog friendly.

Great Location

Great location, decor reminds me of an old school college professor apartment. The apartment is a little outdated and the building is older but the price point is fair. Nothing is broken dirty or anything like that. I would have rated this higher but the use of Rabbu was an annoyance. The application kept telling me I wasn’t checked in and therefore I couldn’t get the information I needed (example- wifi). Rabbi adds an extra step which is unnecessary- would be easier to just use the VRBO app.

Great Stay In Charlotte

Our hosts were incredibly professional and the hospitality was superb. The five days we stayed in our home away from home flew by. Fun neighborhood close to good restaurants, bars, and shopping. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The Most Beautiful Home and Excellent Hospital Ever!

This is our favorite place we have ever stayed. The apartment was so clean that it seemed like no one had ever stayed there. Even the towels and bed sheets smelled great and fresh. The hosts were excellent at communicating and responding quickly. Plus, they left a well stocked refrigerator for us, and plenty of drinks, too. We loved the decor, the layout, and the location. We could live there forever and be perfectly content. Needless to say, we did not want to leave :-( We will definitely stay there every time we visit Charlotte. We can’t thank you enough for all the extras!

The welcome from the host was overwhelmingly gracious! The response to the one issue I had was extremely fast, and completely resolved the issue. Wonderful neighborhood for walking. I loved the screened in porch!

Very comfortable and the washer/dryer was put to good use. Goodies in kitchen are a great touch.

It is on the edge of our daughter’s neighborhood, so it is convenient for our vista to her. Nice not have to deal with a hotel lobby and elevators. Quiet area, a plus.

All the touches of home. Beautiful neighborhood and very walkable. The host left lovely touches - some fruit, a bottle of wine, and more. The bed was very comfortable and the building and area were very quiet. Cute screened in porch too!

Hard to Beat

Jim was very accommodating, communicative, and congenial. There was no detail missing. The property is VERY clean, comfortable, and has a fabulous location. The porch is just perfect for early morning coffee, reading, and an evening cocktail...and just visiting. We will definitely return!

Perfect spot for a weekend away

My husband and I stayed at the Magnolia property and absolutely loved it! We're relocating to Charlotte later this year and had fun exploring our future city over a long weekend. The apartment is a good size, with plenty of historic charm (the kitchen is also updated and well-equipped.) The easy, off-street parking is a nice bonus. The location is great--it allows for easy access to uptown and city center (about a mile away), and is a quick walk from restaurants like 300 East and Sunflower Bakery, as well as shops (from local boutiques to Food Lion) and Latta Park. Staying at a local property rather than a hotel allowed us to better envision how our lives would look in one of Charlotte's vibrant south side neighborhoods. Charlie, the property manager, and Jim, the owner, truly went above and beyond in making our busy weekend smooth and enjoyable. When we arrived at the property, we found orange juice, English muffins and butter in the fridge, a bottle of wine and cocktail ingredients on the counter, and pasta, sauce, and snacks on the kitchen table. Having food at hand meant that we didn't need to rush off to dinner as soon as we arrived (and saved us from having to grab breakfast on the go the hectic morning we traveled back home.) Jim thoughtfully provided the name of a local realtor for us (saving us research and headaches!), and made sure that a jacket we accidentally left was promptly mailed back to us.
