The home is cozy with plenty of space and comfortable furnishings. The home was well organized, welcoming, and had plenty of labels for the many light switches and drawers.Management team was very responsive to an HVAC issue that was quickly resolved. The star of the stay is the downstairs game room/theater room. Perfect for a lazy football Sunday with family!

We had an amazing time here. The house has so much space which was great with ages ranging from 13 to 84 in our family. Everyone was well entertained all week. The teens made excellent use of the game room and the movie room. We all loved the screened porch, the dock and the water. The setting is beautiful and being right on the water was so much fun. It would be nice to have some additional water toys (multiple kayaks or paddle boards) so several people can participate together. We borrowed from friends so worked out just fine for us. We were worried that that there were only three bedrooms listed and our teenage boys don’t want to stay in the same room but there was another bedroom option. So perfect. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

The house is amazing, lots of amenities. Great spot for swimming with very little boat traffic. My only negative was the trash situation. It is collected on Thursdays and there was a lot of trash left from the previous guests. I’d suggest a second trash can. All in all, it was a great family vacation.

This home was perfect for our three generations. The kids loved swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding off the dock. Because of the location near the end of the cove, we didn't have to worry about boats or wake. The home was lovely and very clean. Even more was available than indicated in the description: life jackets, beach towels, and assorted water floats. The beds are very high but a step stool was found in the closet to assist the oldest generation into the beds! We rented a tri-toon boat from Mountain Creek Marina - close by and a newer, nice boat.

This was a beautiful home very comfortable and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay. I had great communication with the host and the property manager of the house . The process was very easy. I’m thankful that the host recommended Aquaventure Boat Club in the area who made my stay more fun. I would be a returning customer and I would recommend this place for your next getaway.

Fun lake house

The house was perfect for our group. The boys loved to fish off the dock, kayak and paddle board. We had fun game nights and would end the night watching a movie in the theatre room. Lake Norman is beautiful! Check in process was seamless and communication with his was great.

Nice Lakehouse - with Some Issues

Our stay at Lakefront Manor was a mix of beauty and frustration. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, with stunning lakefront views and solid amenities. However, several maintenance and communication issues impacted our experience. At check-in, the window sills, back patio, and dock was dirty, with spiderwebs and green moss everywhere. Inside, we reported immediately small water stains in a master bath wall and broken 3D glasses in the theater room, but there was no resolution other than “housekeeping and the team would be informed”. The fridge water tasted awful, due to a worn-out filter, (sent pictures of red sign and there was again no resolution other than the housekeeping team would be informed) and the exercise equipment, including the treadmill, was nonfunctional (said update) and bicycle too. Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout our stay, and we had to purchase bottled water—an inconvenience while caring for elderly parents. The host was polite but the replies were procedural rather than solution-oriented. Not one problem was solved. For a luxury property, this lack of proactive maintenance and guest care was disappointing. There’s also a radon mitigation system on site, which raised health concerns for us, especially as our father, currently battling cancer, was traveling with us. Given the high cost and lack of follow-through, we wouldn’t rent again. Booking last-minute may be wiser than planning ahead, especially if you need reliable comfort and care.

The house is wonderful - the space and attention to detail was beyond expectations. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful - very easy process from start to finish! Proximity to the lake to fish or be on the water was perfect - highly recommend!!

Little slice of heaven, quiet and relaxing!

This home was perfect for our week long stay with 2 children and our dog. It was super important for us to find a property with easy lake access, a decent yard for our dog, and amenities to keep us entertained when we wanted to relax inside. This is one of few properties I found with beach access to the lake - perfect for kids that want to use the kayak, paddle board, fish, and explore the water. Also no steep stairs to get down to the dock/lake, just an easy paved walkway - I didn't worry about my kids or dog going back and forth. Ample, comfortable seating on the dock, shore and all levels of the outside of the home. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the screened in porch listening to the birds each morning. The theatre room was a fav! Gaming tables and sauna were a hit as well. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could have needed. This really is the perfect home to enjoy both inside and outside. We had everything we needed and the hosts were super friendly and responsive. We would return again.

Fabulous get away home

Wow what a great place to escape to for a long weekend. We wanted a home with a water view but other than that we aren’t a group that tends to make plans so we just kind of winged it. The house has plenty of things to do if you don’t want to leave (which I didn’t). Take a steam shower… watch a movie in the theatre… hop on a treadmill… we ventured out and found restaurants but also took advantage of still having access to food delivery service. Looking forward to coming back when it’s warmer!

Loved this property. Relaxing on the lake with multiple game tables, movie theater and sauna. We had a great time with family playing games sitting by the lake and watching movies! It has all the amenities you could want and a quiet setting. The sauna was the perfect way to start each day too.

Outstanding Experience and Property

The host and everything about this property was amazing! This was a friend's vacation trip and it was perfect. Plenty to do at the property and the area, even during off season. Plenty of space but it still felt like home. Our host Riley was fantastic from start to finish, they were very accommodating to all of our needs and were quick to respond when we wanted to add an extra day to our trip and ended up needing to bring our dogs at the last minute when our sitter canceled. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen hand towels but other than that they thought of everything else and have plenty of supplies for cooking and having fun. While we were in the area we rented a boat, played mini golf, tried out some great restaurants and went to the Panthers/Saints game and Carolina won, whooohooo goooo Panthers!!!

- Communication with the owner was top notch. Best I have experienced with any VRBO house! - House was super clean and had everything we needed. - Would recommend this house to family and friends. - Not a ton of restaurants in the area but lots of grocery stores so I would just recommend planning on eating in. Neighbors 828 was one restaurant we enjoyed and we rented a pontoon boat from Saltshaker Marine which we highly recommend.
