Welcome to Golden Hour — a cozy lakefront retreat designed for slow mornings and easy evenings. Enjoy coffee on the spacious deck overlooking the water, unwind in the hot tub, or spend the day kayaking right from the shoreline. Inside, you’ll find a bright, open layout with plenty of room to gather. Tucked in a quiet area but close to shops, parks, and groceries, it’s the perfect spot to relax and reconnect.
*UPDATE 7/20/2026: Due to the drought, this home does not have water at the dock currently - record dry weather. We will update when there is water.
Golden Hour is a comfortable, recently updated lakefront home built for spending time together — whether that’s a family getaway, a weekend with friends, or just a quiet escape by the water.
The main level features an open layout that makes it easy to gather, cook, and relax in the same space. You’ll find a fully stocked kitchen with coffee provided, a dining area, and a cozy living space that opens up to the large lake-facing deck. Step outside for morning coffee, meals in the fresh air, or an evening soak in the hot tub overlooking the water.
Sleeping arrangements are spread out to give everyone their own space. The main floor includes a private ensuite queen bedroom with its own full bathroom, along with a bunk room with a trundle bed that’s great for kids or groups. Upstairs, the king bedroom is tucked away with a peaceful lake-facing window, plus a bonus movie room that’s perfect for winding down at night. There’s also a private workspace upstairs if you need to check in while you’re away.
The home includes 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath, making it easy for larger groups to get ready and settle in comfortably. There’s plenty of parking on-site, and you’re just a short drive from grocery stores, parks, and local shopping.
Down by the water, you’ll have access to a kayak for exploring the lake at your own pace. Please note that lake levels can vary throughout the year. Water is typically at full capacity from May through August, which may allow for boat rentals during that time. In early spring (around March, when these photos were taken), water levels are usually suitable for kayaking and continue to rise a few feet heading into summer.

⚓ DOCK & LAKE FAQ
• Dock and water: Typical Summer (~2-3 ft depth) Winter (DRY). Ideal for kayaking and fishing.
• Boat rentals: We can't guarantee that a boat can access this dock at any time of the year as it hit or miss.
• Life jackets: We provide some universal life jackets and 1 canoe. Please bring properly fitted USCG-approved vests for young children.
🕸️ Spider webs outside?
We de-web and treat docks and porches regularly, but spiders can rebuild a web in just 30–60 minutes. Lake life!
⏰ Can I check in early or check out late?
We already offer THE most favorable check-in/out times compared to other local companies. We follow our standard times to allow for proper cleaning. Requests may be available during the off-season, or if it's not a same day turnaround.
🔥 Is firewood provided?
No—but local grocery stores sell bundles right out front. Grab a lighter too, as they tend to disappear and we don’t stock them (liability).
