It rained five of the seven days we visited Lake Norman. That said, when we return we will definitely consider "Sun Up, Sun Down" and Lakecations!
The home was ready and very clean when we arrived. The house is well equipped with everything you will need and arguably the softest towels known to man. The owners and management do a very nice job, actually the best we have experienced, in ensuring there is plenty of towels, soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc for you to immediately function in their home. This was appreciated.
You can immediately tell that there has been an enormous amount of money recently invested in this property. The flooring and bathrooms have been nicely updated while the kitchen is next level. The grill options were great with plenty of propane on hand. There are a few small things that still need attention, but they would definitely not scratch this from the short list for next year. The deck is in need of replacement and the master bedroom door doesn’t fully close without a shoulder's help- opening it back up is a chore and LOUD. The main sliders out to the deck are also dated and very difficult to open and close. Again, none of these things made me feel we over-paid for this property.
As mentioned, we had rain. The internet was sketchy from time to time, but this could have been due to the storms. The rain also didn't treat the landscape very well. The mulch was completely washed out. They might think about river rock there.
