« A pet friendly hotel with friendly staffunder recent new ownership. Staff friendly and approachable. Room 8 clean but a problem with the bathroom light switch which staff knew about. I will revisit if in the area again. »

« The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

« Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly. »

« I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. »

« Uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren, schoon en netjes, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein, mooi gelegen in de Dee vallei. Het is een mooi en oud Victoriaans Herenhuis met veel sfeer. Onze kamer was op de bovenste verdieping met veel schuine kanten (minder geschikt voor lange mensen). Uitstekende wifi! »
