« The hotel and their staff was great, the only thing I was disappointed in was that night I went to the dining room to order dinner I ordered for myself and grandson then asked if they would fix my husband a grilled cheese he has cancer so a grilled cheese is about all he can tolerate and and the waiter went to ask the cook and they said NO, so I canceled our order . « Very nice stay. The room was clean and modern. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Good for a quick night but I feel I could’ve stayed a few days and been very comfortable. »

« The receptionist made several mistakes and had a poor attitude during a simple check-in. They certainly don't advertise that the typical little breakfast buffet, with terrible-tasting scrambled eggs, is not free. No free breakfast. And the signage in the large parking lot does not make it clear that parking is not free for hotel guests. It should say, "PARKING IS NOT FREE FOR HOTEL GUESTS." I got a parking ticket. »

« The parking lot and outside areas were well kept. The check in prices was slow due to malfunctioning electronics. The bathroom was not clean. There was hair on the toilet lid and in the shower as well as what appeared to be a blood clot on the shower curtain. I would not recommend this establishment. »

« We liked everything about The Boulevard Inn. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to Cary Town as well as several outstanding museums in the area. The Inn is located in the neighborhood of many beautiful older homes which we found to be very interesting as we explored this part of historic Richmond. « Arrived and no one was in the lobby or at the desk. We waited a while then finally found someone. A man with huge fake breasts came out, didn't acknowledge us other than asking for ID and credit card. Made no eye contact. Handed us the room key and that was it. Worst customer service we've experienced at a hotel. Also parking on Expedia is listed at $12, but hotel had a handwritten sign saying parking was $15. Definitely staying somewhere else next time we're in area. »
