We are a traveling Montessori Jr. High with 23 students and 4 adults. We couldn’t have hoped for a better location or accommodations. The doorman were incredibly kind and supportive, and the hosts responded immediately to our queries and were highly attentive to our needs. We rented out both units and found it easy to move between them. Each has a private elevator but there is a short hallway connecting the two. The easternmost unit has a huge covered patio overlooking a spectacular and almost panoramic city view. The master suites are incredible with walk in closets, and a separate shower, toilet and soaking tub. Each of the other rooms has its own lovely bathroom. The common area in the east unit comfortably accommodated our entire group of 27 with room to spare. We used both kitchens every day for breakfast and packed lunch prep. There was ample counter space, huge, built in refrigerators, and two dishwashers. The sinks were deep and the overhead, pot filler style faucets came in handy as well. We have stayed in many, many places over the past me years of traveling with Jr. High students and this was by far the best on every level. Having two excellent doormen made a huge impact in terms of safety and keeping an eye out for food deliveries. Speaking of which, there is a Whole Foods nearby and the Brown Line Chicago stop os a five minute walk away. We even waked into the loop a couple of times- which with 27 people took about 25 minutes. Ten out of ten!
