We stayed here for a week during our trip to Chicago and had a great experience. The home was clean, comfortable, and made for an enjoyable stay in the city. It's conveniently located near a metro station - so close, in fact, that even my 90-year-old in-laws were able to walk there daily without any trouble. The house was well-stocked with amenities, and we found we didn’t need much else during our stay. One night there was a concert at Wrigley Field, and while it did get quite loud (with the vibrations even noticeable inside the house), it didn't take away from our overall experience. However, it is something to be aware of if there’s an event happening during your visit. There’s also a fire station next door, and while it is active throughout the day, most of what we observed seemed like routine practice runs. The trucks only use their sirens briefly and typically not until after they are already down the street. Coming from a quiet rural area, we were surprised at how little it actually disturbed us.The neighborhood has several great restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and the included parking spot was a big plus. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t move it all week, thanks to the excellent public transit (CTA), which made getting around the city easy. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago, and would happily stay here again on a future trip.
