« This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. « Very friendly staff who upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost when we checked in "because it was available". The cooked breakfast was excellent and the garden looked beautiful, although we didn't have time to take advantage of it. »
