One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up ...

„This is a great place to stay if you want good access to central Keswick , shops, restaurants and pubs . The property is spotless and has everything you need in a self catering property. It was lovely and warm and the bed, large and comfy . The parking was close by and although it was a tight fit with our large car we managed it. We did rely on the considerate parking of others to ensure we could get our car in and out without having to manoeuvre too much , and on one occasion couldn’t get it ...

Although the property is on a main road into Keswick it was so quiet and peaceful. Just a five minute stroll into town centre. Everything about the property was excellent except that with one shower and toilet upstairs and one toilet downstairs, it might have been a bit difficult with a family or group ...

This 2 floor apartment is very spacious and well-equipped. All the rooms are large and comfortable. We loved the view of Catbells and other mountains from the living room bay window. We can't recommend this property highly enough.“
