Some amenities that contributed to the comfort and fun were ceiling fans throughout, a well equipped kitchen, lots of outside space and seating, 3 kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe. The property was beautiful with lots of trees and bird watching. »

« The Cowdry Cottage was perfect for our stay. Loved sitting in the porch and looking at the lake. Perfect napping spot. I took the canoe out fishing. So fun. Caught a lot of sunfish. The Hut would have been perfect if we would have friends stay. It is so fresh and quaint, quiet spot. Overall would recommend to future guests. Had everything that we needed. »

We loved fishing off the dock, using the kayaks, enjoyed water sports on the lake, and nice that the location was close to a gas station, restaurants (Leaf Valley Mercantile and Old Mill were both great!), and a boat ramp. Definitely want to try out Carlos Creek Winery and 22 Northmen next time! »

« The lake had incredibly clear water, and it was shallow pretty far out. The kids loved playing in it. I would recommend water shoes unless you have have tough feet. The house is newly remodeled with new appliances and everything you need to cook. It was very restful. We had a great time. »
