« Disclosure: We all loved the house, the setting, our host and the entire experience! In fact, there is not a single negative that would make our Top 100 comments. This being said, if someone is desperately seeking palatial, party areas, he or she should probably avoid Fort Morgan altogether. However, if anyone is looking for an idyllic adventure in the glories of Nature... amidst a calm, quiet, friendly community, you have found the perfect place! « The property was wonderful—just a short walk to the beach, with a great view of the water from the porch. The beach chairs and cart were a thoughtful addition and made our trip much more enjoyable for the whole family. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of 6. The pool gets plenty of afternoon sun and was the perfect place to cool off after time at the beach. Overall, a great place to stay. »

« Loved this rental! Beautiful views, kitchen was fully equipped with nice appliances - made cooking fun. The outdoor shower and at least three other water hoses were very convenient. And most important - beds were comfy! That’s a big plus in my book! And we were able to bring our four-legged family members. Beach was beautiful, and the water was crystal clear. Pretty secluded making it feel so personal. It really felt “at home”. We’ll be back! »

« The inside was nice, however the outside needed a LOT of repairs. The deck area and area under the house was run down and the deck lighting was knocked off the posts. The outside shower was rusted and didn’t work accurately. Lights inside also needed new light bulbs in the kitchen. It would also be nice to have cutting knives in the kitchen to use when preparing meals. There is also a hole in the floor in the master bedroom and the master bathroom closet door was ripped off the hinges. »

« Starting with the positives, it’s nicely situated on a small inlet that is about 3 feet deep and filled with oyster cribs. It’s pretty quiet with a lot of birds. The deck is nice to sit on and relax.The rooms and beds are nice, as are the bathrooms. The living space (LR and DR) is comfortable. It has a few amenities—the kayaks and cornhole boards—that are a plus. It’s a 10-minute drive to the ferry and Fort Morgan, a 20-minute drive to town, and a 15-minute walk to the ocean. « Perfect location, away from all the crowds. Took our mini-dachshund and had three days of fun and sun. Only a short walk from the Gulf and gulf views fromthe kitchen table and deck. Cooked out steaks on the charcoal grill. Very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Great communication with the owners and easy check in and check out. »
