„We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here.“

„Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). „This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. „We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended.“

„Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben.“
