Good but not great
This is a nice house in a good location in the older part of Currituck Club. Easy walking distance to clubhouse, amenities and shops. Functionally, the house met all our needs but some points to note. First, while everything worked, it is a little outdated. The furnishings, bedding etc are worn. Second, in particular TVs are old. The reality is most people could care less about cable and want to be able to streamâwhich only worked on one TV. With TVs so cheap, this is hard to understand. And pleaseâcould we get rid of the multiple remotes? Third, itâs sparsely equipped with any extrasâno beach chair or umbrella, no hair dryer, no beach towels etc. Basically bare minimum so be prepared to rent or buy everything. Fourth, along the same line, be prepared to bring/buy household suppliesâsoap, TP, tissue, cleaning supplies. We even had to go buy garbage bags. While not the end of the world, it is annoying to have to stock up on stuff like this and know youâre going to leave half of it behind (you canât buy just one garbage bag!) While none of this is the end of the world, it does detract from the experience and change potentially great to just good.
