Devil is in the details

Overall, the property was fine. It wasn’t the cleanest. Chair at the dining room table was about to fall apart. Only one set of jets worked in the hot tub. Not the house we originally booked. Was asked to rebook on the fly. Rebook was not equivalent to what we actually started out with. Was finally able to find something equivalent, but it wasn’t as nice as what we had started out with.

Great location, great place!

I love how the owners of this place put so much thought into making it comfortable and cute. The kitchen island is a wonderful gathering place. There is a large dining table perfect for meals. The living area was spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. A half bath is available at the kitchen/living room level. One bedroom with a full bath is available near the ground level, perfect for those who want more privacy. The home has a back side view of the ocean plus pool and a decent front side view of the area. Doors at the front and back of the place make for convenient access to your vehicle at the front or pool + beach path at the back. Covered pavilion has 2 gas grills available, a bathroom, tables and chairs, outdoor rinse station near the pool. Pool max depth 4ft. The beach path is not a long distance and perfect for active individuals. The location is a very short drive to beach. Near restaurants, grocery store, gas stations and cart rental. Kitchen was stocked with basics needed to prepare meals. Pantry had some spices available. Beds were comfortable and clean. Washer and dryer and dishwasher were great. Spacious fridge. Three balconies with chairs plus a small porch at the back/poolside door. Views everywhere. This townhome is not new, but it is clean and very comfortable. There are a lot of stairs as it is 3 levels. We were able to manage just fine. The location is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again

Quiet Reflection

The house was clean, nicely furnished and styled. It was very calming. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. It iswalking distance....(less than a clock away) from the beach. Perfect. We didnt get to enjoy it too much as we were there for a funeral...but it definately was a good place to be when dealing with all that emotion.

Naval Base Wings Weekend in Corpus Christi

Our family travelled to Corpus Christi to attend a winging ceremony at the Naval Base. The property looked like the pictures and was decorated well with comfortable beds and a big table for gathering and a big couch in the living room. We enjoyed this location because it was close to the base and close to the beach. I would recommend staying here and stay here again. (If anyone is handicap with walking this location would be a challenge because there are 3 flights of stairs.)

Aside from the showers not being clean and there were no remotes for the bottom bedroom and master bedroom all else was ok.Would recommend having a broom for light cleaning in kitchen.The bedroom with the bunk beds left a lot to be desired.No one wanted to sleep on the top bunk because it was very unstable.Good thing there was a sofa bed.Overall a nice place and well stocked kitchen.Loved the half bathroom downstairs.No hose for our place which would have been perfect.The master bedroom was the hottest room in the house.Thank you

Very clean

The house was nice and very clean. The only thing that was wrong was the second floor back door would not latch and very hard to lock. Rented for six nights and the second night the living room breaker tripped the breaker box was in the garage so we had no access to it called property management a couple of times they never showed up or gave a call back so we went four days with no TVs or Internet. The property management are very unprofessional when you call

Issues with unit

Deck door on second floor does not lock TV in master bedroom does not connect to the wifi Towel rack in master bath falls off wall Toilet paper holder in second floor bath falls off Washing machine was overfilled and stopped working prior to our arrival. had to break into 3 loads to dry. This unit has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed before they get out of hand.. floor starting to get soft inside second floor deck door. Otherwise, it was great. Great location Remember, it is the little things that make a differance.

Had issue with light in one the rooms(no light) But later was fixed. Dish washer was not working and was not fixed through our stay. Was not clean, had some bear cans in if the area of house.

Fridge did not work Had to throw away lots of food

The house was very pretty. The AC worked great. It was clean when we arrived. But the refrigerator was not working when we arrived. Everything got bad and we had to throw it all away. We had food in there for 8 adults. They had a tiny beverage fridge we had to try and stuff what we could in there to salvage what we could. I called Vacasa support but no one came to fix or check the fridge. They obviously knew something is wrong with it because there was that little fridge in the dinning room. But that is definitely not sufficient for 8 to 12 adults. Also the 2 doors on the main floor do not lock at all. Plus the towel rack and toilet paper holder were bought at a dollar store and was under the sink when we arrived. Also the left sink in the king master bath leaked under it. I notified Vacasa and they said they would send someone to fix the issues but I only got a 1 text and they never showed up. When I tried communicating with them they never responded. I called Vacasa again and they said they would contact management and have them call me but they never contacted me at all. So we waisted a lot of money on food for 8 adults but the management obviously did not care about any of the issues. It was clean and pretty but it was not the best experience for us and we would never recommend that place to anyone because of no response from management to correct any of the issues plus feeling like anyone could just walk into the house since the doors would not lock at all. If they fixed those issues then I would definitely consider going again only because it was so close to the beach and it was clean and pretty inside.

family get away

Looking at the property itself and location was great.It was not until we started using the fridge that we noticed it was not cooling properly and we had an issue with the towel rack in one of the bathrooms and the 2 doors did not lock at all. So that was a safety issue for us.And lets not forget the fire alarms in all 4 bedrooms kept going off constantly.And in all fairness when I called management they did come out replaced all batteries for the alarms, brought in a fan, and reset the A/C since it had been set for fan instead of A/C once that was corrected the place was comfortable.And as for the fridge it was replaced with an apartment size one which was fine.So thank you very much Lisa for taking care of all our issues in a timely manner.We have traveled quite a bit and have never had our issues taken care of so fast.And the beach was so close.Awesome stay.Now just waiting for the price adjustment as promised!

Basic things like a water hose was locked. We had no way of rising ourselves or items of beach sand. Left something’s behind and housekeeping mysteriously didn’t find our items
hmmm. They did charge me $28 just to look though

Perfect for families and groups

2 minutes walking distance from the beach. That part of the beach is closed to traffic so it's safer, cleaner and more private. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfortable, even the sofa bed (at least for kids)! The kitchen is really well equipped and the spacious table is perfect for 10 people. We've really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house! Thanks for making it so easy and comfortable!

Great location!

Short 5 minute walk to Whitecap beach and the large pool is right out back. Lots of space inside. Decorated very nicely. Good grill/outdoor area. Funky entrance w a lot of stairs to negotiate - not for you if you can’t climb stairs. Overall a nice, newer unit. It was decently clean but for cleaning fee paid it should be spotless (floors needed a good sweep/vacuum/scrub). Primo location for beach lovers!

Beautiful condo, great location

We loved our stay at this condo! It was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, just a block from Whitecap Beach and 10 minutes from Padre Island National Seashore, and very convenient to great restaurants, including Rock N Rolls Sushi Lounge and Costa Sur. We underestimated the amount of stairs and had to block them off for our toddler and baby, and there was an incident with the smoke alarm the first night, but management dealt with it quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends weekend getaway

The condo is well stocked and clean. The inside is spacious and comfortable. The management staff is very responsive. We had an issue with a door and a repair person was sent right away to examine the it. My friends and I enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the convenience of nearby eateries.
