« Absolutely gorgeous location! Very much off the beaten path. All you could hear is forest sounds and the ocean in the distance. Great getaway if you want to disconnect for a while and get back to nature. Lots of stuff to do. Lots hiking, kayaking, horseback riding. Plenty of places to eat. Definitely will be back, but for longer! Excellent host too! Great communication. Very clean location, well maintained. Can't recommend enough! »

« The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up...

« Perfect for a romantic getaway. Thoughtful touches throughout. We immediately felt at home in this woodsy paradise, where we could walk to the back of the property to a fire road leading to a trail through the forest. The fire pit was great to snuggle in front of while star gazing. The cabin is only 2 miles away from the beaches, but far enough inland to escape the fog. Excellent location for enjoying both forests and beaches. We loved everything about the Kona Cabin and would love to come...

« Our stay at Ben’s place was incredible, I was only sad that we could stay only one night. Being amongst the redwoods was so cool and the cabins were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Ben was super accommodating and was clearly investing in making sure we had a great experience. Having a cup of coffee in the morning among the stillness of those tall giants is not to be missed! »

« We stayed in Fort Bragg/ Cleone for 3 nights. The home is a great central location if you want to explore Mendocino's Redwoods. We just came for the ocean and the forest. »

« Overall a great stay. Small kitchen, but that wasn't a concern for us. We used and enjoyed the hot tub. For some parties it may be an issue that you have to talk through one bedroom to get to the other. »

« Absolutely beautifully decorated houses! We had so much fun and enjoyed our stay so much. My only suggestion is to screenshot access code and instructions prior to arrival due to lack of service in the area. Once we got the wifi it was great! »
